Shambhunath Pragatishil Youth Club (SPYC) was
established in January 1994 with the initiation of a group of social
village people and professional and representatives from
municipality working in various fields of youth and society
development and rights for all in the country. It is an youth
organization for youth working in social sector in Shambhunath
Municipality, and is registered with the Saptari District Office,
Government of Nepal as a non-profit making and non-political
Non-Governmental Organization as per the Organization Registration
Act of 2034 B.S. (1978). It is also affiliated to the Social welfare
Council (SWC), the apex body of national and international NGOs
working in Nepal. Shambhunath Pragatishil Youth Club is a member
based organization and to date, more than 100 have received its
membership. Shambhunath Pragatishil Youth Club is now working to promote the aims, values and principles of development of social value on the Rights of the all the people in this municipality and coordinate, activate and foster inter knowledge and relationships working for social development by providing them linkage for different development works throughout the Nepalese people. It also coordinates and cooperates with the local, national and international agencies and help implement various programs for youth development and society development. |
